| Definitions (تعاريف): Hyperlink: is a piece of highlighted text or picture that acts as a link to another page. Enumeration (تعداد): You can create a basic web page using a: 1. Text editor. 2. Or a word processor. But you need to know a code called HTML. All HTML files: 1. Starts with <HTML>. 2. Have heading text that begins with <HEAD>, and ends with </HEAD>. 3. Have body text that starts with <BODY>, and ends with </BODY>. 4. Ends with </HTML>. If you are not familiar with HTML, you can use a web editor like: 1. Microsoft FrontPage. 2. Or Macromedia Dreamweaver. to simplify the process. Web editors are: 1. User-friendly. 2. And WSYIWYG. Abbreviations (اختصارات): HTML: Hyper Text Mark-up Language. WYSIWYG: What You See Is What You Get. Questions (أسئلة): What are HTML codes called? Tags. What's the function of HTML codes? Tel the browser how to display the page. What type of programs allows you to design a web page without writing HTML? Web editors. How can you view the source code of any web pages? By clicking the option page source in the browser's menu. How do you connect your home page with the other pages that you have created? By hyper links. What is the functions of these HTML tags?? 1. <HTML> </HTML>: These tell your web browser that the file contains information coded with HyperText Markup Language. 2. <BODY> </BODY>: This parts contains the content of your document. 3. <H1> </H1>: This is the most prominent level of heading. 4. <HR>: This tag inserts a horizontal line or rule. 5. <IMG SRC= "Image filename">: This is used to include an inline image. 6. <I> </I>: These enclose italic text. 7. <A HREF= "Filename"> active text </A>: This adds a link to another web page. 8. <BODY BGCOLOR= "#000000">: This creates a window with a black background. 9. <OL>: This indicates a numbered list (also called an ordered list). 10. <P>: This tag indicates a new paragraph. Synonyms (مرادفات): HTML commands: called tags. Grammar (قواعد): Modal verbs: 1. بعدهم فعل (verb) بصيغة المصدر. 2. لا يأتي بعدهم (to) باستثناء (ought to). 3. لا يقبلون صيغة الـ (ing) ولا حتى صيغة الـ (ed)، باستثناء (will, can) مثال: Musting // X. Willing, canned // Ok. 4. يكون السؤال بعملية (shift) بينهم وبين الفاعل. مثال: I can …. Become can I …. 5. يكون النفي بـ (not). أمثلة: Must not, ought not to. 6. لا يمكن أن تتابع اثنتين. 7. يمكن أن تتابع مع واحدة من طائفة أخرى. مثال: Can be … 8. ليس لهم معاني محددة فلا ترجمة لهم، ولكن لعم أغراض تنقل معاني. 9. ليس لهم ماضي أو حاضر أو مستقبل ولا حتى مصدر أو تصريف ثالث مثل ليس باللغة العربية.
